My Adventures Around the World

Yes, I have been this close to a lion.  No, he wasn’t sedated.  It was love at first sight for me and Penduka, the best boyfriend ever!  I have stood on all the continents and at 90 North, which translates into the North Pole.  Here are some of the adventures:

• Scuba’d in Antarctica and dove to 1,500 feet deep in a submersible
• Climbed Kilimanjaro, got stuck in a blizzard on Mt. Etna, and saw the sun shine on Mt. Everest
• Flew at Mach 2.4 to 84,000 feet (the edge of space!) in a Mig-25 Foxbat
• Watched a voodoo ceremony in Togo, wore pythons in Benin, and hand-fed hyenas in Ethiopia
• Tracked bears in Kamchatka, tigers in India, and gorillas in Uganda
• Explored Machu Picchu, Timbuktu, Angkor Wat, Chernobyl, and the red city of Petra
• Got mugged by a kangaroo and hit in the head by a giraffe
• Went inside a pyramid in Bosnia, stood at Stonehenge and the Great Pyramid at Giza
• Swam with humpback whales, whale sharks, hammerheads, and great whites
• Pet cheetahs, lions, and tigers
• Played with orangutans, lemurs, and some spa monkeys
• Rode a camel in the Arabian desert and washed an elephant in Nepal
• Searched for yetis in Bhutan and anacondas in the Amazon
• Spent Halloween night in Dracula’s castle
• Got tattoo’d on Easter Island
• Camped in the Gobi, stepped in a dinosaur footprint
• Walked on the ice cap in Greenland,
• Swam in Jellyfish lake,
• Zorb’d and been a hobbit in New Zealand
• Hung out with giant tortoises in the Galapagos
• Sailed through the Panama Canal and rafted the Zambezi
• Held a giant panda, saw the terra cotta army, and climbed the great wall in China
• Drove a tank over a car in Ireland

I can have a basic conversation in eleven languages.  Pretty much I spend a lot of time on continents other than this one.  I have had a lot of adventures around the world.  Here is where you can read about them and see the photos!
